Semporna is generally a staging area for visitors while diving or snorkeling in the nearby islands of Mabul, Mataking, Sipadan, Maiga, Kapalai and several others. Famous for scuba diving and snorkeling activities, the place that is the focus of Semporna is Sipadan Island which is close to the area where tourists can do activities regardless of day or night.
